Hungryman developed this new site to show off the company's personality, and exhibit the sense of humor of their directors. Using unique textures and vintage photos borrowed from eclectic rock station WACKY79 (Louisville, Kentucky), every page merges the kitsch mystique of these 1950’s - 1970's grainy photos with the award winning work of the Hungryman Directors Roster. In addition to the simplicity of the design, the pages are contrasted with fluid and snappy motion that create a subtle visual tension. A new web application that lets you create an entire font online (using a palette of grid-based modular vectors), then export a high-quality TrueType font ready to use on any Mac or Windows PC. The technology is impressive (nice flash interface and the back-end done in Java, apparently) and overall the project is beautifully executed. It's a good example of a web application used as a marketing tool to sell retail fonts. Plus, it never hurts to have another digital font around... does it?... More

A Commonwealth: Poland's Heritage is an international educational exhibit which presents the history of tolerance and cohabitation of various ethnic groups in the territory of Polish-Lituanian Commonwealth.
