We wonder why this Swedish-based firm named their company after a skin ailment; maybe it means something else in Swedish? In any case, Acne has an interesting approach; they rely more on gut and emotional instinct than boring old things like market research. They create specific characters for their clients, characters which can inhabit print ads, interactive sites, or short films -- which will be shot with Acne's own 16mm camera, the Ikonoscope A-Cam. Now. What's "acne" in Swedish, and who's gonna tell them what it is in English?
