Bau-Da is responsible for some of the most well conceived, designed, and illustrated CD cover art the MTV generation has owned and enjoyed (sometimes making the box more interesting than the contents). The site is appropriately dumbed-down for compatibility with America, which makes exploring their projects a breeze. But then again, they probably don’t need to appease anyone; they probably have just about every record label attending their X-mas party. And whatta-ya-know? It sounds like an 8-bit video game, but it comes out like a mega-pixel monster. Plinko’s style ranges from campy to cartoony, and adjusts perfectly to clients' specs. The 60’s-type interface pops with bright colors and fast loads—it's as alluring as a free game at a video arcade. Fun print design fills out the portfolio nicely, while a limited number of web projects show the range of capability, but don't appear to be the bread and butter.... More

Graphic design that feels like a visit to a not-as-wealthy-as-they’d-have-you-believe distant relative’s cabin at the lake – right down to the wood paneling. This collaborative effort by two fine art degree carrying designers is a good choice for basic website design and print advertising with an ‘organic’, laid-back feel and a slightly discordant nature.
