Zaum Think is a tight little boutique agency with a passion for branding, print design, identity and website design. Their compact portfolio is marked primarily by a large number of print projects, of which many have a beautiful minimal appearance and clean presentation. On a side note, we did post their creative apparel site ZAUM in our webgallery last year—and in the same vein as their apparel boutique, the design studio work has that ephemeral appeal of an unique hand-crafted experience.... Taking their name in part from a quote by a famous science fiction writer, WSDIA (We Should Do It All) is a Brooklyn, New York-based graphic, interactive, and architecture multi-disciplinary design studio. Sticking with that simple theme of diversity, WSDIA designs, develops and mediates interactive, print, motion and architecture projects for clients in a wide array of professions - such as the arts, architecture, advertising, fashion, and media. Truly one to watch, their work has very crisp, and futuristic egde - from the typography choices to the themes and clients, each project rings out with a clean, bright and youthful appeal. Therefore, it's no surprise that WSDIA was recently named to The Art Director’s Club, 'Young Guns 5' for 2006. We had to dip to the old Digitalthread to find out that we first posted up Ben W. Tousley's portfolio back when he was only 17 years old in 2004! Now a ripe 20, Ben sends us a notice of an update of new works... and we can't say we are at all disappointed. In fact, more impressed than ever that this tidy graphic designer has found his own niche in creating some strong promotional and print designs for music bands, with the occasional poster thrown in. Great, clean typography and nice decorative illustrations.... More

Here's a prime example of an outstanding, awarded, professional design firm with every accolade in the field, great clients, a creative director with his own permanent gallery collection at Cooper-Hewitt, and yet... their company web site – while we did like the large-scale photographs – is lacking some basic IA to make it easier to navigate. It's too bad; because a few changes could really make it shine—it's just harder than necessary to get to all the great projects inside this site! But hey, website aside – when it comes to identity design, branding, posters, print work and packaging, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger firm to help you develop professional, breakthrough creative designs.... Trevor Jackson is a London based creative force who began a convoluted career in music and the arts by designing record sleeves. He currently works in graphic design, art direction, moving image, music writing, remixing, installations and performance arts. In the "design world", he has created many iconic and classic record cover sleeves, bus is also just as well known in the "music world" for his eclectic remixes and his record label OUTPUT, and in turn, he creates most of the artwork for the musical artists on the label. His design artwork has been shown in the Guggenheim Museum.... More
