Eduardo Bertone

Eduardo BertoneI once knew a graffiti artist who never stopped drawing in his black book until every inch of white space was covered. Eduardo's rough and doodly sketches, scenes, paintings and art kind of remind me of that kind of obsessiveness. It's driven by a desire to create and express and have fun and make the most of every experience. And the results are the fantastic layered mixed media pieces Eduardo brings to life. But now here's the kicker... Unique as Eduardo's work is... There's a twin brother out there with a similar style producing just as much work, and his name is Rafael Bertone (http://www.rafabertone.com).... More

EAMO

EAMOEAMO is a fantastic Australian illustrator whose work has a certain funky realism that we find very attractive. In this new online 'folio, this Aussie art child shows us more than one style—ranging from cartoonish kids to saucy sex bombs with haunting dark, mysterious eyes. Appropriately, these 20 pages of illustrations are all presented on the side of an illustrated milk carton—which in the U.S.A. had at one time been a space reserved for showing pictures of missing children.... E'motive Project

E'motive ProjectHailing "Hola" from Spain, E'motive Project is a professional multidisciplinary studio based in Cádiz. Mixing different creative fields as art and illustration projects, animation and graphic design for print, the E'motive personell create a diverse range of work that spans across many different styles... but usually has an edgy, urban and decidedly upbeat appeal. Lots of fun work in a strong portfolio, we especially liked their exhibit onoplastica - an illustrated interpretation of Christian iconography.... More

Drew Flaherty

Drew FlahertyAn engrossing showcase of photo-illustrated design, wispy graphics, explosive compostions and the random skull, graffiti tag, or rainbow next to a beautiful model. Sure it's trendy, and nothing you haven't really seen before... or is it? On closer inspection, the work of Drew Flaherty goes an extra step, breathing in more detail into each inch of design, and producing a rich tapestry of different styles that together evoke quite a beautiful, mystical quality. Who needs substance when you can have visual satisfaction and a lingering emotion that makes you think, je ne sais quoi? There are nuggets in this mountain of multidiscipliary work... you just have to dig deeper.... More

Dreamline - Unofficial Dave McKean Site

Allow significant surf time as the site provides hundreds of images, representing nearly twenty years of projects, as well as links to news, interviews, and the artist's agent's site with more samples. David Navas

David NavasQuite a powerful talent, David Navas has created a number of intriguing minimalist illustrations and art pieces. But not content with mastering just one medium, his recent work has also covered animation, videos and motion graphics for television channels including MTV, Mun2 and The Locomotion Channel. His illustrations, comics and photographs have been published in the U.S., Mexico and Argentina, and his work has carried him between Europe and the U.S., to where he currently resides in New York City.... David Ball

David BallDavid Ball is brilliant with colorful ‘collage illustration’. Bits and pieces are arranged in funkified, intriguing glory – like dreams that you feel all the better for having. Joy of joys, you can buy prints of selected works, and even polish up your political awareness with the links so thoughtfully provided. (No shipping and handling fees on the conscience polishing.) We suspect Terry Gilliam and Salvador Dali had a love child and, lo, his name is David Ball.... More

Damien Correll

Damien CorrellReady, Set, Internet! So begins the adventure into the outstanding typography, print and graphic work from this young Philadelphia designer. Best described as hand-drawn and kinda chunky (his work, not Damien), he seems like a natural at creating fun and friendly type design which is beautifully applied to record covers, magazine illustrations and generally fills pages in your friend's zine with art. Treading the broad line beween crafty and hip, this work shows a great deal of originality with a hands-on approach and a new wave edge.... More

Conclave Obscurum

Conclave ObscurumPhotographic "fantasmagoria" at its finest. A prelude to a newly-redesigned website offers enough weird eye candy and interactive video vignettes to keep the most discerning surrealist smiling -– albeit in a twitchy, mentally-deranged sort of way. Simply put: these folks offer fine examples of twisted art. We can only hope the Slipknot CDs and prints of René Magritte (yes, there is an alternative to Dali) can keep us tweaking until Conclave Obscurum III comes along.... More
