A brand spanking new portfolio from a young Flash web designer in the Netherlands who states he "hopes to find an internship" with the work displayed on this new release. Well, well, young Daniel! That could be the understatement of the new year... As this rather advanced portfolio and wide arrangement of projects displays a wisdom and skill beyond his years! The Flash elements and nav are certainly very well considered in their placement and execution, while the projects perhaps need a few little descriptions so we can read what young Daniel did on each project. Located in Switzerland, dache serves national and international clientele, mainly focusing on his strength in logo design, corporate id, and brand identity. d. crabbe has compiled a diverse collection of flash, print, and even some fun fonts. We wondered briefly if his touted “globz” font had been drawn by someone with flippers, rather than hands. For those that feel (correctly) that we only post sites of pure perfection and squeeky clean design, we present the award-winning website of the small Berlin based design studio Codeluxe. Very minimalistic and pure, yet still dirty and digital, Codelux revels in slight inperfections and the abstracts of new media design. Their projects remind us a bit of the days of monochromatic monitors, using few colors, and sprinkled with allusions to code and the gritty, "hacked" nature of online technology.... More
Clean, clever and to the point. Quality logo designs, CD cover art, web layouts and posters, albeit limited to a combination ‘Beat/Bauhaus’ style. Designer Stefan Claudius provides excellent accessibility to his artwork with well-sized and fast loading thumbnails. The site also provides fonts via a link to Cape Arcona. When two Swedes named Jojo and Jesper name their studio "Chevychase", it certainly raises some eyebrows on this side of the pond. But try as we might, we could not elicit any hard findings about the name choice from this Stockholm, Sweden based collaboration. Therefore, we can only assume Chevychase - in this case - is a small communications studio specializing in brand creation across various medias and platforms... and a collaboration between two designers... named Jojo and Jesper....
