Mr. French Papers is one of the more respected distributors of custom papers used for printing, decoration, wallpaper, or whatever you desire. The site exhibits three main sections where one can browse custom papers, intricate design patterns, or buy one of their custom fonts. Overall, Mr. French exhibits a very clean style but with bold shapes and coloring to impress their flair without detracting from the user experience. We lowered this positioning to 'Honorable Mention' because we had several issues with the navigation and usability of the site.... More
A conceptual merging of sun and sky flowing like water across these pages. The cleanliness of each detail is refreshing and adds totality and strength to the concept. European based design firm Fork (as reviewed in Das Designhaus) realizes a refreshing concept for Nivea. The result is a soft design that uses a great contrast of both fat and light fonts to create impact while maintaining a natural sophistication. The site has since been redesigned again in 1999 by Fork with great results. The new site predominantly uses Flash and Shockwave, and maintains all the beauty of the original site and more.... More

The design features large photographic duotones and are freshing mixture of script and full-bodied type. The concept is strong, and the navigational elements and general depth of design throughout many different areas make this a superior branded wonder worth multiple explorations.... More

Novo Nordisk is a healthcare company and a world leader in diabetes care. They have a nice subdued pinkish-grey website—featuring appealing rounded edges on their tabs and borders. Above all, we really enjoy their logo, which is a stylized reproduction of the Apis bull, one of the sacred animals of ancient Egypt.
