As complete and through as possible, this graphic and architectural wonder leaves little room for improvement. The Flash-driven navigation is a showcase for an ever improving design team and their final solution for this amazing project. As deep as it is wide, Motown is the ultimate culmination of great design, Flash technology and interface development that represents the height of online design and the essense of great user interaction. Farmhouse

Winner of the 2000 Flash Film Festival, 'Welcome, This is a Farmhouse' is the Flash site for the band Phish and their new album. Phish have demostrated an eye for web design before, and this development is great for it's overall design, but also because it breaks new ground in Flash navigation. Farmhouse presents an environment where elements of the design must be pulled on and dragged to reveal snippets of interviews, songs, movies and content. The illustration and design is fantastic but the Flash animation and true interactivity enhance it to greatness.... More

forest for the trees

An impressive interactive design concept supported by excellent functionality: this is one of the first 4.0 generation sites that really delivers - concept, visuals, sound, interactivity + variety. The website design plays on the phrase "you can't see the forest for the trees." Individual artists were each commissioned to do an interactive interpretation of a particular track for the Dreamworks album without knowing what the other participants were doing, or how it would all come together. The result is a forest of trees testifying to the inspiration of the visionary soundscapes in Forest for the Trees.... More

Just another really sick animated Flash music site from our falafel-eating, funky-faced, far out friend, Todd Purgason. But this time it's different - this time the site ain't anything you've seen before. So figure out what the hell a fugly fairy really is, and even torch her with a bow and flaming arrow by a belligerent french ferret. And hey, there's cool Easter egg stuff to download, like free MP3s from some bands, and a blog by Mark Hoppus. Did we forget to mention this was a site for Fuse TV? Have fun!... More
