From the black and green monster to the new sleeker wireless white knight, the new XBox promises some nifty improvements on the old XBox, and a completely new design. The promotional website is built in Flash, but uses almost no copy or text at all - simply relying on imagery and Flash navigation tricks to convey the sense of expectation, minimal whiteness, and ultimate cool.

Yes, its that time of the year again. Design week is here. Furniture, design and more... Check out some of the
scheduled events here. But don't miss the main event, which is the
ICCFF Furniture Fair, taking center stage at the Jacob Javits center. NYC Design Week.
As the site for a new up-and-coming band, we were pleasantly surprised by the simple design and "single-screen" overview of the bands information. Touched up with a few colors to make a new wave reference, and some modern shapes to imply the electronic nature of the tunes, it makes for a double-fold success. Information architecture, and design... Plus no launch music playing right when you get there! A great site for these electro-soul white-boys.

A beautiful website for a French/Moroccan ensemble and counter tenor Rachid Ben Abdeslam. The open format design and the hypnotic logo of Zéphyr al Andalous makes this one of more beautiful sites we've seen in a few weeks. Nice blending of modern design with ancient symbols in Flash to create an immersive and atmospheric background.
